Our 2017 Hope for the Holidays was another success! Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Carrying Hope was able to touch the lives of more than 150 Central Texas foster children in December with our holiday projects.
We partnered with several local foster agencies and came up with three impactful ways to make a big difference in little lives!
This Year Our Supporters:
- Created 29 Holiday Hope Packs that were delivered for kinship families at the Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services. Special shoutout to our volunteer coordinator Caroline Gray Hedenberg, pictured here, for ensuring that everything ran smoothly!
- Donated items and stuffed 125 stockings again this year for the World for Children annual holiday party. We had a great time at Santa Rita Tex Mex Cantina for our stocking stuffing party with volunteers and lots of little helpers.
- Assisted Santa Claus at A World For Children Round Rock’s Grinch-themed holiday party for foster children and their families! Whether they were making slime, assembling ornaments or dipping marshmallows in the chocolate fountain, everyone involved had a wonderful time! Huge thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, and to everyone who came out to create the stockings that Santa distributed — they were a hit! Thanks for having us again this year, A World for Children!
Happy Holidays from Carrying Hope and thank you always for supporting us!
